Anne Boleyn is shown in portraits wearing a pearl necklace with a gold B pendant and three pearls hanging below it. The best known, at the National Portrait Gallery in London, was painted after her death and probably copies a lost original; the jewel itself has never been found. Ours is the B with its three drops, in metal.
